More third grade adventures...

Third grade shares spring break adventures!

Information

Governor Morrisey came to Lake Stephens today to dedicate the Mountaineer Mile trail there. Some of the Falcons came out to meet him. We didn't get to walk the trail today due to weather, but it was a great opportunity for our students to meet the leader of our state!

West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey will take part in a “Mountaineer Mile” walk at the Lake Stephens Overlook at 11 a.m. in Raleigh County to help launch National Walking Day on April 1, 2026.
As part of the effort, Raleigh County will also designate a new Mountaineer Mile trail at the overlook, supporting a nationwide campaign led by Dr. Mehmet Oz and the American Heart Association that encourages a 30-minute walk to improve heart health and reduce stress.
We would love to see our Falcons and their families participate! Wear school colors or Falcon attire!
Have a wonderful spring break!
